NFL Trends - Week 4

NFL Week 4 is almost here.  All the early season surprises and disappointments have pretty much worked themselves out and we should have a fairly good understanding of how these teams will perform for the 2007 NFL season.

Here's a look at 10 of the NFL Week 4 Betting Trends:

SU = straight up. the points spread is not factored into the result.
ATS = against the spread.  Result after the point spread is factored in.
Over/Under = bet if the total points scored in the game is OVER or UNDER an amount set by the Sportsbook.

1. Raiders are 1-6 SU against Miami.
2. Ravens are 2-4 ATS when playing Cleveland Browns.
3. Browns are 4-9 SU at home recently.
4. Chicago Bears have killed the Lions recently, 4-1 ATS
5. Detroit is 11-9 SU at home in their last 20 games.
6. Vikings have owned the Packers lately 4-1 ATS
7. Cowboys have covered 4 of 6 ATS when playing the St Louis Rams.
8. Although, the Rams, have won 5 of those games.
9. The Jets and Bills have gone OVER the total in 5 straight match ups
10. Panthers are 7-1 ATS when they play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Im slaying the NFL this year. Also doing well with MMA Betting. Keep posted those trends, if you have the time can you give your thoughts on them. Some don't seem to valid since the players and coaches are all different from year to year
