Want To Make Some Dough? Check Out This 3 Team Parlay in the NFL This Sunday!
Sometimes it makes sense to play a parlay. Usually, keying in on a single game or two, or three and betting straight-up is the way to making money in the NFL sportsbook.
It’s difficult to win even one NFL bet. Try winning three! But it does happen. So, the best thing to do is to take a few bucks and put it down on a parlay wager. You can cut your initial investment while still picking up profit if it hits.
Below is what I consider to be the best 3-Team NFL Parlay of the weekend.
3-Team NFL ParlayDenver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts
Kick-off: 1:00 pm EST
Pick: Denver +7
Reason: The Broncos’ D is ranked #3 in the NFL right now and Indy has had some tough games against suspect teams. Yes, the Colts looked great against the Titans last week, but the Titans’ Chris Johnson still had over 100 yards rushing.
Denver will really go after the Colts on the ground with Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter, Champ Bailey takes Reggie Wayne out of the game, Elvis Dumervil sacks Peyton a couple of times and Denver pulls off the upset…well, they at least beat the spread.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Minnesota Vikings
Kick-off: 1:00 pm EST
Pick: Cincinnati +6 ½
Reason: The Cardinals beat up the Vikings last week by frustrating Brett Favre and shutting down the Vikings’ rushing attack. Cincinnati is one of the best teams in the NFL with their 4th ranked defense that allows only 82 yards per game on the ground.
Don’t expect the Vikings’ D to totally shut down the run either because Cincy brings both Cedric Benson and Larry Johnson to the party. The Vikings’ D line is exceptional but if they have to bring a man into the box, and I think they will, then Carson Palmer should eat up the Vikings’ suspect defensive backfield. Just watch the tape from last week when QB Kurt Warner with the Cardinals and WR Larry Fitzgerald made the Vikings’ D look like a college team.
Make a note, fantasy players, Chad Ochocinco could have a big day against the Vikings on Sunday.
Washington Redskins vs. Oakland Raiders
Kick-off: 4:05 pm EST
Pick: Washington -1
Reason: The Redskins have covered the NFL point spread in 4 straight games and it’s been against legitimate foes in Denver, Dallas, Philadelphia and New Orleans.
The ‘Skins are flat out better than the Raiders who aren’t bigger home dogs because of their terrific effort against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. Heck, at this point, I’m willing to bet that the ‘Skins are better than the Steelers.
Oakland’s offense, which averages only 12 points a game, will get bogged down against a super tough ‘Skins defense and Washington QB Jason Campbell should have some success against the Raiders’ D.
The 1 point line looks like a gift almost, doesn’t it?
