Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo is attracting a lot of attention from other teams but says he wants to stay with United. He has scored 37 goals this season which has put him at the top of the list for teams looking for a star. “I just don't care what the whole world seems to want to say about me or speculate about my future. “I've said it a thousand times and, by now, people should realize…I'm totally happy at United,” he said, “I'm in the form of my life and I'm having the season of my career so far so it makes me mad sometimes to read some of the things which are supposed to be related to my future. I get angry but I'm trying to accept it's a waste of energy to be furious because it is not worth it.” Manchester United assistant boss Carlos Queiroz has said that even $120 million (Euro) would not be enough to convince United to let Ronaldo go. "We would not sell him for €120million," Queiroz said, "You can offer all the money in the world, but there is no amount that can buy him."

Manchester United also locked up one of their stars as defender Rio Ferdinand has reportedly agreed to a new five year deal. Barcelona was reportedly interested in Ferdinand but that speculation is now over. His agent Pini Zahavi believes the defender will play at United well beyond the current five year deal. "This new deal will take him beyond 34, but it won't be his last contract and in all probability it won't be his last contract at Manchester United. Rio is very happy there, he wanted to stay and they wanted him to stay. Of course he course he could have gone to another big club but he did not want to.”
Another star player is also attracting interest. Valencia striker David Villa is getting a lot of attention from Premier League teams. He has said that if he moves he would like to play for Arsenal. He has 63 goals over the last three seasons and would be a hot commodity in the Premier League. "I watch the Premier League a lot and the team I'm most attracted to is definitely Arsenal.” he said, "Their brilliant one and two-touch football and the whole style of rapid counter-attack which dominates the top level of the Premier League now is the one which suits my game best of all. I think I'm made to succeed in England but of course it's one thing saying it and quite another getting there and then doing it. The Valencia president (Agustin Morera) always told me he wouldn't sell me until summer 2008. If an offer comes in I'm hungry to test myself in England." If Arsenal is not the destination then Villa has said he would be happy to join Fernando Torres at Liverpool. "It's great playing alongside Fernando," he said. "We understand each other totally and we get on brilliantly off the park."
